About Kasha

Kasha Morris is a writer and speaker who first earned the title of "mom detective" long before she stepped onto a global stage, drawing on her professional roots as a teacher and special education math specialist. While she spent years teaching in the classroom, her most profound education took place in hospital corridors and medical records where she spent over a decade piecing together the mystery of her son’s health. Today, she translates that lived wisdom to bridge the gap between the complexities of science and the families who are now navigating the same uncertain paths she once walked.

As a leader of the TANGO2 Research Foundation, Kasha has turned her personal journey into a mission of hope for other families, helping to raise millions of dollars to accelerate medical discovery. She is a sought-after speaker at international conferences, where she challenges the traditional boundaries of research by championing the "patient-led" model. Her message is centered on the concept of "faith as a verb"—the idea that belief is only as strong as the action we take to back it up.

Beyond the world of research and the stage, Kasha remains a storyteller at heart, finding purpose in the simple power of connection. For over twenty years, she has led a local book club, fostering the kind of community she once searched for. Whether she is sharing a story in a circle of friends or writing from the home she shares with her husband, Mike, in East Haddam, she is guided by the belief that when life takes an unexpected detour, there is still beauty to be found. At the center of her life are her children, Kaitlyn and Ryan, who have taught her that even when life doesn't go according to plan, there is still so much room to find the "good every day."

Ultimately, Kasha’s work proves that you don’t need a medical degree to change the course of science; you just need the relentless heart of a mother and the courage to act on what you believe.
